Ski Season @ Mt. Hood, Oregon ~ December 2007 to April 2008

We are definitely getting our money's worth with the season passes to ski Mt. Hood, which is about a 3-hour drive from our coastal hide-away. It's amazing how we literally experience all four seasons from our drive from snowy Mt. Hood, to rainy Portland, to the overcast valley, and ultimately sunshine at home at the coast.

Australia (Nov. 24 - Dec. 11, 2007)

Some of the highlights of our blitz trip through Eastern Australia included being treated like royalty by my fave Aunt Kiew and cousin Ed in Sydney, diving the Great Barrier Reef, partying with my cousin Justin and his fabulous girlfriend Rebecca in Melbourne before hitting the Great Ocean Road, and last but not least, getting wild in Tasmania where we hiked 11km to at Freycinet National Park (Wineglass Bay) and got to spend an evening with Fairy Penguins, the world's smallest penguins only found in Australia (not pictured).
